Liliane Rocha has been through the struggle of being a Black woman. She faced situations of prejudice in society and in the corporate world and for years, she could see from the inside of companies, as a LATAM Executive, what worked and what didn’t when it came to the topic of Diversity. She has had 15 years of performing in fields such as Sustainability and Diversity in Multinational Companies. Currently, she’s the CEO of Gestão Kairós, a company that has become a reference at supporting large companies by implementing successful strategies of Diversity.
Nowadays, she holds a Master of Public Policy Management Degree, an MBA in Sustainability, and teaches at the post-graduation Sustainability course at University of São Paulo (USP). Liliane published the book “How to be an inclusive Leader” that has been bought and distributed to the leaders of large companies.
She has created new concepts - like "Diversitywashing" - a term created by her, used to identify practices of organizations that hijack themes related to Diversity and Inclusion just to obtain marketing status, without doing concrete actions for inclusion.
Gestão Kairós has a client portfolio that attends large companies in Brazil, such as: Belgo Bekaert, Novelis, Gerdau, Symrise, Medral Energia, Via Varejo, Itaú Social, Instituto Unibanco.
Between 2017 and 2019, Liliane has given more than 150 talks developing at least 15 thousand
professionals. She has completed more than 300 Diversity and Sustainability published articles and more than 400 hours of training.
Liliane was the only Brazilian representative at:
- 2017 - The 1stInclusive Leadership Global Conference – Declic International – London
- 2018 – National Diversity Forum, Portugal – organized by the European Commission
- 2019 – 3rd Global Diversity and Inclusion Congress – India
Liliane has been recognized among the 101 Top Global Diversity and Inclusion Leaders in the Diversity & Inclusion Excellence Awards 2019.
